Love in Shakespeare
“One that loved too wisely but not well”.(Othello). Follow the journey of our hero Chris as he plays out his own love story through some of the Bard’s best bits. Set in a pub in 2010 this comedic and at times, irreverent tale for our times will inspire and inflame even the bitterest of cynics. Served up with a garnish of Heartbreak song, audience interaction and the occasional dance we hope this experience will awaken the Romeo or Juliet in us all. (Suitable for aged 10yrs & above)
"I just wanted to say that I went to LOVE IN SHAKESPEARE on Saturday and I absolutely loved it. I am not that familiar with Shakespeare - beyond what I had to do at school, so I thought it was a fantastic way to be exposed to some intense and beautiful language. The acting was superb and it was very moving" Julie
How does this differ from traditional Shakespeare?
